Pathetic service

On the 28th september i went to Edgars Chris hani to exchange baby clothes. I went to customer service where i was welcomed by an ugly look from Phumelele. I went to her and explained that i left some baby clothes yesterday i want to exchange them with the ones i have with me but i do not have a slip as they were gifts. She showed no interest at all, opened her nose left the counter and asked one of her colleagues if she knows about the clothes. She went to the back and came back with them. I told her that some of the items i want to exchange that i have a slip for them and the baby shoes i bought yesterday but they are big. She told me to take out the clothes which i did. I gave her the ones that has the slip first and she said, which ones are we exchanging? With the attitude ofcourse. I showed her and she said no we should start with the ones with no slip. All was said with an attitude. Some items were not of the same price and was not aware. I couldn't go to the floor to look for the items because i did not want to aggravate the situation because she already showed no interest in me. I ended up exchanging one item which was a baby jacket. She asked if i have a card with me because she can't do an exchange without me giving her the card and the account is not mine. I asked if she needs a card even if the items are the same and the price is the same as the other one she said yes. She took the jacket i wanted to exchange and put it back to the plastic bag i was carrying. Her colleague overheard the conversation and asked Siphumelele if the items are the same she said yes then the colleague told her that i do not have to give her the card she can do the exchange. She did the exchange, as she was doing it she was complaining that she cannot see the item i want to exchange on the slip but it was there, She was all saying that because she did not want to help me.sheput the slip in front of me after the transaction was done and gave me the jacket in my hands without offering me a plastic bag. I did not say anything but took the slip and the jacket put it in the plastic bag i was carrying. I then gave her the baby shoes she told me i should take something else or a gift card. Still with the attitude. I asked her if it's written somewhere in black and white that i can't get cash refund she said no. I said then she can't force me to take a gift card, she processed the transaction and gave me the money, showed me where to sign and gave me the slip without saying thank you. I left the counter. Phumelele is highly rude, she needs to work on her attitude. She must stop judging customers. Do we need to dress up and wear make up to be treated fairly? Must we always go to the big malls to get good service?Phumelele must start treating customers equally or she must be removed from customer service.
