Pathetic customer service

I recently app**** for a new account online and i have been given the run around about the progress of the account. According to the online info i woul be contacted within 48hours and it's been more than 96hours since i app**** and heard nothing. The call centre agents are useless and cannot provide accurate information. Everyone gives different information which is really frustrating
