Paid up letter requested /Disappointed

I had a Edgars account in 2***. The account was handed over but I ended paying it up. I contacted Edgars to try to get inforamtion as too who the account was handed over to so I can request a paid up letter but to NO AVAIL. I was asked to contact attorneys and rcs requesting this info all because Edgars cannot pick up my details. I Have given them my I.D No. and my account number. According to them the account was closed in 2018. They asked for my email address so they could email me confirmation of that. If they cant pick up my account details. How do some people pick up the account is paid and closed! Everytime i call they tell me that someone will contact me and send the letter via email within 48hrs.
