Paid up letter

I had an edgars clothing account which i settled in july 2016. I need an paid up letter for the account and when i contacted Rcs they advised to visit an edgars store because they haven't go any records of the account. I went to edgars store bloemfontein but they told me that it will be very difficult to get a paid up letter for the account as the account has been handed over and they don't know to which attorney the account is with because there are to many attorneys out there. Im im very disappointed in the service i received and i need the paid up letter very urgently.
