Paid off acount taking to long to be settled

I received 30% discount to pay off my edgard account lats year. I made the payment in september 2015. They told me that i would receive a clearance letter for that. I am still waiting!!! <br> Recently i did a follow up and they said R585. 02 is still showing on my account and it needs to be reversed. After reversal i will receive a paid up letter. Still waiting for that as well!!! Today i called them again and they said they cant say how long it is going to take to have that amount reversed, but if i want the rpaid up letter in two or three days, i can pay the R585. 02 . <br> My question how sure am i that if i pay the R585. 02 that i will get the paid up letter in two or three days??? I want to better my credit score and open new accounts, but i cant cuz edgars is, slowing me down. <br> <br> Please help me!!! <br> My name is Shermon Harmse
