Not what I agreed upon!

I app**** for an Edgars account online in May at a 6 months interest free plan. The application was approved at a credit limit of R4000 and I was happy with this until when I had to go pick up the card at the store. I spent more than an hour there because the account was blocked apparently because the payslips I sent do not reflect. The lady at the store did her best and eventually got the new accounts department to unblock the account. I confirmed at the shop if the account is on a 6 months free plan and they affirmed. I just got my statement this morning, with an interest charge and another fee "deffered interest fee charge". When I called to enquire, Brian Sefara answered and said there's nothing that can be done because the system only approved my application on a 12months term with interest. He claims that it's the system that is to blame because it changed the account to 12 months when I didn't qualify for 6 months. That's not what I app**** for. That's not what I was told when I asked. I do not want to pay for what I did not agree upon!

I called the number above to provide with my ID number. Will you get back to me in 2016 still or you'll wait till I accumulate more interest on this account?
