Not given the option and not being able to change things upon finding out about the options...

I opened an Edgars account recently (just to get a credit history). I was not informed nor given the option to choose between a 6 or 12 months account. Upon receiving my first statement I see that the interest that they charge is 20.5%, which I find ridiculously high. Apparently there is no interest on a 6 months account, but I cannot change my current account to a 6 months account. Very bad service!
