No Wonder...
As lockdown was eased to level 4 , everyone stormed to the shops to buy winters clothes. I attempted going to the mall but when I saw the long queues I turned around and revert to the modern way of online shopping. A day after I placed my order , I realised that the size clothes I bought for my boy might be a tight fit so I called to amend the order. The order was not yet processed , but was informed that I cannot make any changes, I had to cancel the order first or return it once received . After this frustration I decided to wait for the clothes and take it from there.
Days later I called to follow up on my order after sending two mails without any response . Firstly it took about minutes before someone answered , but I can accept that due to limited staff during this epidemic. When my call eventually got answered , I held on for another 10 minutes just for them to check the status of my order. Why it took so long I have no idea.
I was told that my order will be delivered first thing this week. Yesterday I sent another mail to get an update and guess what. No response till now. I tried calling this morning seeing that I had better luck last time , but this time there was voicemail informing me that there is no one at the call centre and one must please send a mail.
With this service no wonder Edcon is in the state they are and with such pathetic service I really have no sympathy that they on the verge of closing their doors.
I still dont have my clothes or an idea when i will get it. Hopefully before winter ends
You should have investigated before responding to me and not waste another couple of days.
