No stock on the school shoes they are promoting

I received an sms notification today of Oxford school shoes that is on promotion and I thought let me get some before it ends on the 17th Jan 2016. When I got there they had almost no stock on the shelves of the Oxford brand and I asked someone to check if any of the other stores had stock. They could not find any and Hazel showed me that all stores from Northgate to Keywest has nothing. How can a company like Edgars promote something but without sufficient stock in their stores and then it's also a product that doesn't cater for all shoe sizes. This must be marketing that promote products just to get you in the store to buy stuff you don't need or the more expensive shoes. I feel that Edgars was very unprofessional in advertising this promotion even knowing that they don't have stock in their stores. I will definitely close my account soon.
