No legal help from edgars while i`m paying cover

I hold an account with Edgars & took insurance through them with Hollard legal Insurance paid through Edgards.Claimed last year for my divorce on the cover & Hollard Ins refered me to Singhs Attorneys.Hollard advise Singhs Attorneys Roodepoort what my cover was & asked them to advise Hollard if the case`s will be above what I was covered throughout the procedings & they never advised them.Case was done & closed but now Singhs Attoneys has send me collection summons they say I owe for extra costs from R2300 - R5000 & say I am liable for that & any followup costs etc.Have contacted Edgars & Hollard Insu & they refer me to the same attorneys & they say they can`t represent me against these attorneys.They never told me money frm the cover is over & I will be laible for costs,should they ccontinue.why did the attorneys not advised hollard of the extra costs as communicated on their payments correspondence?why is edgars &hollard referring me to the same lawyers I`m having problems with?my account is up to date&i`m still paying for these services.how many customers are having issues like this?I am paying for legal ins&can`t get cover cause insurer keeps referring me to the problem lawyer
