No exchange without receipt
I purchased a pair of Sissy Boy jeans from Edgars as a Christmas gift. The jeans were a size too small for the recipient. They refused to exchange the item without the receipt even though the barcoded tag was still attached. The cost of the Jeans was R1000. This means that you can never purchase a gift from Edgars without giving the recipient the receipt with the price attached.

As per our telephonic discussion, kindly note we are displeasured by how this matter was handled and for that we would like to apologise. Please be advised if the item is still in its original condition and still has a tag, it can be exchanged or the customer would be offered a gift voucher. However, the item would be exchanged according to the system price, same goes for the gift voucher. The store manager was notified of this query and he will revert with feedback shortly.
