No cctv

My phone was taken from the sit I was sitting at whole fitting shoes I asked for the cc tv footage they said where I was sitted there's no proper view on the camera then the store manager Kingsley went to the control room I waited for an hour just for him to come back and says there's nothing why wasn't I given the opportunity to go look at the cctv myself? I am not happy at all to loose my phone and can't even be allowed to look at the cctv
