Never Again

My wife gave birth late in Sep and failing to pay on time I got a call from a collections agent. I told him I would pay over the weekend. On 10 Oct I paid at Clearwater and even bought an item, but when returning to buy something a few days later at Eastgate they told me I had to pay to buy. Fortunately I had my receipt with me and they logged a call telling me the matter should be resolved in a few days. After a number of calls from their DC dept, I eventually gave in and sent them the receipt too. I told myself I am not going to pay until the matter is resolved but eventually realised that I just want to get it over and done with. I have since paid everything except the amount that still needs to be credited, resent my receipt and bank statement and have asked that the account be closed. I don't seem to be getting a response from anyone so I have to resort to Hello Peter. How I wish one of the DC agents I spoke to actually listened to me and helped me resolve the issue instead of trying to tell me about my overdue acc. Can they not read the customer notes before calling? Can someone let me know that the acc is closed and I have been removed from all mailing and SMS lists
