My Edgars gift cards

I got 2x R1000 gift cards that i want to buy with at Edgars in Goldfields Mall Welkom FS. The manager told me it expired so i cant use it anymore. I reply back to him that cash could never expired it is only cash in a card form. He the manager said he will call me back 2 or 3 times told me that. Its now months later and i never get a call back or help from him. This is so sad i need the money to buy my son some clothes but couldnt coz of Edgars who refuse to help me. It feels like they ***** the money from me, they owe me that, the R1000s is still on that gift cards
