Misleading pricing on sale item

On the 28th of January I went to Edgars the Glen for shopping as they had a sale, while I was shopping I found a pretty dress that I liked that was marked R119.50 with the red sticker to my suprise when I got to the cashier I was told that the dress is R1 195.00 when I questioned the price that was on the dress the cashier said it might have be a mistake when it was labelled so with my little understanding of Consumer Act is that if a consumer picks up an item that has been priced by the store, the consumer has to get it with price that is on that item irrespective if that was an error with the pricing personel so the cashier called the manager on duty whose name was Siza/ Nazo as I wanted to be assisted. The cashier dissappeared for a while with the dress to get manager when the manager came she told me that the pricing gun that Edgars The Glen is using does not clearly price the items if it has four digits that was a shock to me that such a reputable store does not have a proper pricing equipment and the manager was very aggressive in such a way that I ended up leaving other items that I was going to buy.
