misleading offer

I bought curtains which had a red sticker that says buy 2 save 50.00. when I got home I realised I didn't receive the discount although I had bought the 2 pack ready made curtain. When I went back to the store the cashier who is also a manager who didn't even greet me told that special was over. I told her but it's in the package and she completely ignored me after a while came back to me and I told her that I want a refund and she was gladly willing to do it for me. But as soon as I mentioned that according to the consumer protection act I'm supposed to be given the offer I saw. She then gave me the 50.00 discount and handed me back the things without any apology or a thank you. Didn't even wanna look at me I felt very sad as I have been to other Edgars but I have never been treated so bad. Don't forget this is a manager I wonder what is she showing to other employees or is this how customers are suppose to be treated?
