Misinformation on financial products

I recently signed up for an Edgars account. The consultant who was assisting asked if I would like to add the different policies they have (dental, hospital etc), she assured me it is of no extra cost to me, it comes with the card, a 4 in 1 sort of deal she said.

Seeing as it wouldn't make a difference, I agree. Then today i receive all these smses alerting me that I have been enrolled in for all these products, the smses also detail how much each product is going to cost me. To my shock I contact the customer care line and they refer me to another number, and when I call that number, the consultant refers me to another number. The number that I am requested to call does not work, it requests an id or card number, which I entered but it tells me its incorrect. I try this about 10 times, and still nothing.

Frustrated, I go back to the consultant who says I should rather go directly to the mall, which happens to be on the other side of town, inconveniencing me once again!
