Marked down price tag but not marked down

I went to Edgars in Jubilee Mall they are having a 75% the item I wanted had a marked down price when I got to the till it turns out it's showing the original price A woman by the name of Zinzile said there is no way they are going to discount the price I'm welcome to call the store manager. The store manager by the name of Jan said there were some mix up with pricing they have to log a call with IT,I left without buying.Why mark down an item & replace the original price with the marked down tag them say it was a mistake.
