**** about cellphone policy
<p>Bought samsung j1 ace on 27/07/2016 they told me I get 7day return policy if I'm not happy with the phone. So I got problems over the weekend with the phone, just switching off, going all white then black on and off not getting any calls or text. So I went back on monday 01/08/2016 demanding a new phone or my money back, but they refused and told me I must book my phone in so that they can sent it in for repairs (this is NOT what they told me!). Now I can only get my phone in 2 weeks time, I'm waiting for possibly job call that I can not receive now, so I'm losing my chance of getting a job for 2 weeks!!!! Very very bad service!!</p>
All cell phones purchased at any Edcon store is strictly supp**** from the relevant network provider. A cell phone can only be exchanged or refunded if the service provider cannot fix the cell phone and therefore will instructed us to replace or refund the customer as stated in our refund policy.
Kindly note the 7 day exchange period only applies if the cell phone is considered to be an OBF (out of box failure) which needs to be determined by a technician from the relevant service provider.
