Levi's my @ss!!

I am one of those unfortunate people, whom struggle to find jeans in my lenght, as I wear a 38w with a 34l, thus when I come across some jeans in my size, I'll end up buying 5 or 6 sets, as I dont know how long it would be before I would find them in my size again. So, a while ago, I bought myself 5 x pairs of Levi 501's, 2 x Guess, 1 x Soviet jeans and for my wife 2 x pairs of Sissy Boys. A total of 10 sets of jeans. Decided that I was going to rather "invest" in good quality known brand jeans, as I was tired of having to replace the "cheaper jeans", every so often. R5500.00 worth of jeans later, I thought I was set for a while in the jean department, this was is Dec 2014. Although I wear jeans practically every day, I am a "desk jockey", thus the "wear" on the jeans are minimal. Well, by the end of 2015, I only had the 2 Guess jeans left. Every single set of "Levis", split by the crotch. Eventually the 2 Guess dit the exact same as the Levis, and also split by the crotch, earlier on this year. And finally this morning, I put on my Soviet jeans, which I have literally only worn maybe 8 or maybe 9 times, one of the buttons on the fly broke off, for absolutely no reason! To top it all, after having a bit of a fit about the **** POOR quality of the so called brand jeans, my wife says to me, "oh so by the way, both my pairs of Sissy Boys, tore between the back pocket and the side seem, last year already". How I God's good name does a jean split there????

Best part of this is of course is, I purchased a few sets of jeans (5 or so) from Mr Price 7 years ago, for R79.95 each, which I still wear up to today, yes the look worn, but the still work!! Now I ask you with tears in my eyes, how is it possible that 10 pairs of "authentic branded" jeans, are destroyed in 18months (which means each set of jeans did not even last 2 months), yet the "cheaper" jeans bought down the road, which are exposed to exactly the same conditions as my "investment" jeans are, have been going for years? I am sorry, but this is not on!!!! If I spend R100.00 on a set of jeans, I don't expect it to last for years, but when I soend R600.00 on a set of jeans, I expect it to last longer than 2 months!!!
