Just frastrated

On the 09th of Jan 2019 I went to Edgars Store in JHB CBD to buy a perfume. I didn't know the name of the perfume but I knew the smell that I was looking for. It didn't take me long to find the tester I was looking for and I was very excited that I finally found the name of the perfume I have been looking for. The tester was on the same stand as the Red Door perfumes. I then went to the cashier by the name of Lindiwe who was on duty on that day and confirmed with her that next to each tester there's a perfume for that certain tester. I then went and paid an amount of R249 for my Red Door perfume and went home. When I got home I opened the box and it didn't open nicely but I kept the piece that was removed from the box , to my surprise the smell of the perfume was different. I then went to the store the following day and luckily I found Lindiwe on duty again and explained to her what happened. She asked me to show her the tester that I used that day and I went straight to it and it was still sitting next to the Red Door perfumes. To my surprise the name on the tester is different from that of the Red Door. The name on the tester is Fantasy (Britney Spears). She told me that they won't be able to exchange the perfume for me as I should have read the name on the tester before taking the perfume. I asked her ( what if I was blind what was gonna happen because now she is blaming me of being ******** by not reading the name on the tester. I explained to her that it might happen that I missed the name because the tester was sitted on the blank side of the bottle hence I didn't pick that up. I asked her for someone who is a superior but she told me that the consultant is out on lunch and she knows that I won't be assisted. When I checked the other Fantasy perfumes, the first one on the row was torn and it was closed with a tape. I asked her how come you don't want to accept my one and yet you have the same thing in the store and the answer I got is that us customers always open these boxes and leave them like that. I then took the correct perfume and paid R245 and now I have a Red Door that I'm not even using. My query is that whose fault is't if testers are being placed incorrectly in the store and why must us customers suffer because of negligence by Edgars staff. To prove that there is no order when I went the following day that tester was still in the wrong perfume stand.
