****** IPhone 13 at Vaal Mall Edgars

I have a complaint about the Edgar's in Vaal mall. I was there on the 1st of December 2023 which was on a Friday and it was around past 5pm and I had my phone ****** there it was a brand new iPhone 13 and sadly the staff was not even willing to help as there were two ladies that had seen my phone and an older lady had given my phone to one of the Edgar's staff members but when we called managment, they were no help as the manager was going back and forth with my sister what was even worse was that they didn't even let us see the cameras and had the excuse that the cameras at the store were not working. I had tried to call my phone that day I was helped by a sweet lady to call my phone and the person answered the phone but was not speaking and when we were looking for the phone the staff looked suspicious and there was a lady who changed her Edgar's shirt and wore a casual shirt I don't know if it was to confuse the older lady who was helping me identify the person she gave the phone to. When I asked the guy in front of the store who knows how the cameras operate he literally said that the camera does not rewind. I really am upset because I jad everything on that phone and I could see that some of the staff members were hiding the fact that they knew where my phone was and the older lady was told by one of the staff members that they will give the phone to the people at the back where most lost items are then claimed. The sad thing is I'm not the only one who had their phone ****** that same day in the same store. The service was absolutely bad and I felt like they didn't care to even help honestly it is not good for the company and also for customers, how are we supposed to feel safe around the store or even staff members if these things happen and end up not being helped it's really devastating to say the least.
