I went to Edgars for their sale, I was looking for man's shoes, I went to the shelve where they've packed the shoes that were marked with red sticker and there was a big board for 50% discount. I picked a pair and went to Sphiwe to confirm the discount on the shoes of which he confirmed that the Red sticker is for 50% discount. But when I went to the teller, she said the shoes are not on sale therefore i must pay the full amount for the shoes. I told her Sphiwe said the shoes are on 50% discount then she called Sphiwe who said indeed the pair is not on sale. My question is who's fault is that, as they have confirmed and marked the box for discount. Sphiwe refused to help me further and said I am holding their line as there's nothing further he can help me with. I am a regular Edgars client and I cannot afford to take a knock for Edgars' staff faults especially after I engaged with them and got a confirmation that the shoes are discounted.

I had to ask them to credit other items that I have bought as I specifically came to buy the shoes. They were so quick to credit me I wonder if this kind of attitude is good for the company's reputation. Teller Teboho Mahasha. ***
