I went to the store to buy but no one could assist

I went to Edgars festival Mall to purchase one item, I realized when I got to the till that I forgot my account card. I went to customer service to buy with my ID, I spent a whole 30minutes going up and down trying to pay, the customer service consultant (Metro) generated a slip after of which they sent me back to the tills. I spent a whole 30minutes going up and down trying to pay no one assisted until I left.
