I did request not to receive promotional e-mails!!
I registered on Edgars' website to get my statement. There is an option to receive promotional e-mails etc and I made sure that it was not ticked as I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE PROMOTIONAL E-MAILS FROM EDGARS! And please don't come back to me saying the block was ticked as I actually printed the information that I completed online. Why did I receive an e-mail on 22/04/2015? Is this in line with the consumer protection act? <br> I ONLY WANT TO RECEIVE MY STATEMENTS PER EMAIL! <br> This is the first time that I receive an promotional e-mail on this specific email address, so if another company contacts me via e-mail, I will know it was Edgars that provided them with my e-mail address and that I have not given consent to Edgars to share my info with anyone. And then I will take the matter futher.<br>
