Handed over for nothing
At the end of April 2015 i was retrenched. I submitted all the documents for my account protection. So that Hollard would pay. The claim was sent. I then started getting endless calls from Edgars for my overdue account. Each time i explained hollard are suppose to be paying it. The would say oh yes sorry we can see that. After 6 months of this i get another call this time they tell me hollard want another afidavit to prove im not working. I said to the lady. What if i was working you telling me they then wont pay. She said its not right. I didnt do the afidavit straight away still edhars threatened to hand me over knowing very well hollard didnt pay. When i was told they would. I eventually gave them the afidavit confirming im still unemployed. Today i get the message i have been handed over. This is unacceptable. Why pay insurance if they dont bother and edgars doesnt even follow up with them. They would rather demand money when i truelly have none.
