Great Service!

2 weeks ago, I went to Edgars Shoe Gallery in Lakeside Mall to buy Sissy Boy heels, which I have been eyeing for a while. I bought the shoes and noticed, when I arrived home, that they were damaged (the paint had chipped off on one of the shoes). The following day I went back to the store, with the intension of exchanging it, only to find that they no longer had my size in stock. The staff there tried to look for the shoes in the other branches (in the east Rand), with no luck. The following day I phoned the Edgars Fashion hotline and was assisted by Steve who located the shoe for me in Sandton. He engaged with a gentlemen by the name of Mothibedi ,who then kept the shoes for me, until I collected them the following day. I unfortunately had to go collect them, because I wasn't willing to wait for the Sandton store to finish with their stock take before they can send the shoes to my nearest store. I appreciated how Steve kept me abreast, by phoning me on my cell to give me feedback after he spoke to Mothibedi. I also want to say thank you to Mothibedi as well ,for keeping the shoe for me until I collected them. Its service like this that needs to be applauded!
