Goldfields Mall Edgars

Edgars in Goldfields Mall Welkom has pathetic service. First we waited in line for a very long time despite only have 2 people in front of us. As only two tellers were open and at times two or more people has to stand around 1 teller to assist a client. When finally getting to a teller the shoes we wanted were ringed up for double the price despite being marked down on the box. When pointing it out to the cashier she called the manager who had her check for more pairs of the shoes to see if they were marked down, claiming that any customer could have put the marked down price on the box. They returned saying the shoes around that specific type was marked down but not the ones we wanted, thus he could not give it to us at the discount price. I find the reasoning weak as the rack where the shoes were are a mess and the shoes are not sorted by type I had to search the entire rack to find a pair similar to the one on display and as easy as it could be for a customer to put the discounted price on the box it would be just as easy for the prices to fall off as it is very loosely put on the boxes. If there was also someone who organized the shelves this could be avoided as the shelves would be neatly stacked and the prices would not be on the wrong boxes.
