From 6months free plan to 17.5% interest, what a shock

Since this account was opened more than 15years ago it was on 6months interest free plan all the time. Then come 2020, Retailability bought Edgars, that is when the problem started, the account was changed to Budget plan 20months 17.25% interest. Since then I started paying interest though the promise was that the 6months interest free plan clients will continue with that.

Are you aware that this account is opened for that long with Edgars because it was 6months interest free account? Is this a way of Edgars telling me to just close the account it has enough clients. I am just an extra? Please do advise urgently and accordingly so that I can pay off and close the account if my account is no longer of that importance, decisions can be made on my behalf without saying anything.

Please urgently advise a way forward before I incur more interest while waiting for your response and the go ahead from you to close the account. I have sent this same message 16 January 2021 and no one bothered to respond. I read an article also where the CEO of RCS confirms that if you were charged interest while you were on 6months free plan, it was reversed. Not in my case, I keep accumulating the interest every month.
