I've received my March Statement and noticed that there was a difference in the statement closing balance and the Budget section of the statement. Closing balance came to +-R2600 but the Budget closing balance came to R1130. I do have financial service products on the account which come to R247 every month and I make sure that I pay them every month along with interests and fees so that I don't default on it but I just could not understand where the R1500 difference is coming from and its not showing on my statement as an item either. So I called the customer services line, I explain everything and they themselves don't know where the difference is coming from. They then proceeded to transfer me to another department but then the line got disconnected on their end after they transferred me through. I have taken this further to the Ombudsman and awaiting feedback. People please check your statement and add the totals up yourself as Edgars will rob you.
