*****alent activity on my account

I am so livid over my account being imposed to ********** activities and being inconvenienced to go to the likes of police station to do an affidavit and go to the store to lodge the query. It is not ideal especially since with lockdown where we need to stay indoors and with the infection rate increasing by the day due to covid 19. Last year had a break of about 8 months without using my edgards account and not owing hence strongly believe it is an inside job because no one else will have privy of an active account, that’s clean and with large amount of credit available. On both occasions was notified by someone who works for Edcon asking me if I was the one that just made a purchase on my account and this is questionable for me because if Edcon is noticing that it is an unusual activity and not in my shopping behavior, why only call me once the purchase is done and complete. Why am I not being called during the purchasing?? The first time this happened was around Feb this year, I went to the police station and went to the nearet edgars branch to lodge the query and was resolved. Last month again got a call from someone that works at Edcon alerting me of the ********** activity and I was upfront to that person that I was not going to lodge any queries due to an inside job. I do not understand why must I be inconvenienced while the culprits are on their payroll. I have been taking care of my account for years and honoring my debts when I make purchases so why would I lie now. Please Edgars/ Edcon as mentioned I am not willing to go out and risk being infected with covid 19 due to inside job.
