*****-someone used My ID number to open account and gave me bad credit ratings

so yesterday I went to my bank to pay rent for new place I got plus to see If I can get a small personal loan so I can purchase a washing machine and couch. To my shock lady that helps me said I can not go further on the system due to you being in arrears or bad credit. So she called to find out what company its with and she said Edgars. So off I went to Edgars to find out about this so called account. I told them listen I think someone has done ***** on my name can you please check as I apparently in arrears for an account I don't have. Lady asked for ID number I gave it she put into system and asked if I am so and so. So I said no I'm Lisa and showed my ID book and she's like oh hmm ya maybe they used your ID number to open an account. SO I asked how so first she said did I loose my ID book so I said no I have had the same one since I was 16. Then she said she probably made an ID book and used my number in it with her name and photo. So question what kind of system do you all run there. There should be the proper way to check if its ****. I mean really my name is being affected, I could have lost my flat due to your guy's mistake. Now I can't get a personal loan due to this. I have always paid my one and only account on time which is Identity. THis issue needs to be fixed and I want this sorted asap. I am a victim of *****. This is either inside job girl must have known someone that helped her or someone not doing their job right. Try make a system on all account places that when you put ID number in it gives all the peoples proper info and photo so you yourself can't get ****med and lose money and innocent people names don't get affected.
