***** at Edgar now I am at credit bureau

I bought Items at Edgars Rosebank brench at the beginning of December last year using my FNB card. In January I got calls from the debt collector saying I owed edgars R1900. I then went to the branch it was already closed. I went to the nearest branch in Newtown they traced the records from their online system and the system showed that I bought same items twice in one day, one with cash and the other with edgars card. which was strange and they suspected that the Rosebank workers did that knowing that the store is closing. The Newtown manager said he was going to trace these two gusy and organise a meeting between me and them. While I was waiting lockdown happened. Now I have been handed over to credit beurea. I know things aren't good at Edgars, DONT GO DOWN with me. Please I will pay once you give me answers, I have been to branches but no one is able to tell me what happened but I am expected to pay.
