Fragrance Exchange

I went to the Sandton Edgars Yesterday to change My Perfume that I got as a gift and I was glad to exchange it for something else as the one I had was for Ladies (Miracle) and I needed a Man's fragrance, When I got to the store I was told that I can only change within the Brand and the Brand doesnt have Mens Fragrances. I was told that they will not change it as the Perfume was bought at the Red Square Store and theyre no longer merged with Red Square, I mean I'm a customer how Am I supposed to know that? I was told that either I take The fragrance within Lancome or nothing, I tried the gift card option but there was no success, which I understand, but for them not to exchange for me within the store, I mean that was a gift and the gifts don't come with price tags or slips. I'm very dissapointed in Edgars and the way they do things! One must acknowledge in this situation My Customer Rights were not honoured, I need an explanation and an Edgars exchange and a voucher for awaiting the manager for long, Edgars used to be my favourite store but I'm not too sure anymore or must I really go ahead and tweet about the incident?<br> I'll be waiting for an explanation.<br> Regards
