Fradulant Account

Someone opened an Edgar's account and bought clothes worth R8000, **********ly in my husbands name. We went to Edgars a month ago to report the incident and they told us they would investigate because the account was opened in Cape Town and we live in Bloem.We were told someone from head office would call us within a week. A month and weeks later no one has called us, the people at Edgar's are not assisting with anything all they can say is 'there's nothing they can do' they don't even want to give us a letter so we can give to the banks for them to approve our bond while they are busy investigating. They even have the nerve to tell us it can take up to 6 months. So are they telling us that we going to wait for 6 months before we are able to buy a house.
