Forced to pay for a bad item.

In October I bought a few items including a Prima Ballerina tracksuits for my toddler 18-24 months. Because I figured it's the perfect size for her to wear by next winter. A few weeks ago I decided to dress her to see how she looked in her tracksuit and I was weirdly surprised that the tracksuit was too fitting as if I bought her a 12-18 months size, however I did not pay too much attention, she didn't want to take it off and so I let her wear it. It was only after it was washed that my mother made me notice that the left leg of the tracksuit pants is much shorter than the right side. I took the set back and I even though I had the receipt I was asked for the tag and when I said I did not have the tag, was told there is nothing they can do because it was worn and washed and therefore they cannot resell it. Even if I had not washed it who were you going to resell it to because it's a factory fault with one leg longer than the other. So while i pay R190 for a tracksuit that was made terribly so and measured wrong, Edgar's East Rand Mall wil not do anything about it. I just have to deal with it. I am not happy about this and i will take it further until this is resolved.
