To Whom It May Concern
I ,Mrs CI Robertson with I.D. No:*** 089, which to bring the following under your attention.
I purchased a flat iron on my Edgards account at N1 City in Cape Town on: 11 May 2019, on recommendation by Kurt from the Bionic hair and beauty salon. (He represented them on that day). He did a demonstration on my hair with the iron. He is a very smooth talker and convinced me that, that specific iron is the BEST currently on the market.
I’m the only one using the iron. I use it only once in a while because I am unemployed and at home. After using the iron only twice and being dissatisfied both times, I decided to take the iron back.
I took it back to Kurt at Edgards, on 11 June 2019, to try an solve it with the salon first. He told me he cannot decide and put me into contact with the owner per telephone. Spoke to the owner, Rehana who promised and convinced me that I have purchased the BEST Bionic, although the name on the iron and on the invoice differs, and she cannot take back the iron. Kurt then ironed my hair with this iron to proof that it is actually working fine on my hair.
I left the shop a very unhappy customer of Edgards. Not really knowing what to do, I spoke to a couple of people who advise what I should do. Because I wanted to solve this between Edgards and myself first, I contacted N1 City store where I spoke with Rhoda Williams, the store assistant manager, because according to her the store Manager was not in on that day. She listened to what I had to say and told me straight it has nothing to do with Edgards, it’s between me and the salon.
My question however is: Why allowing a third party selling THIER goods on your Edgards account if Edgards is not willing to assist in their customers complaints.....
Submitted for your information and the necessary attention please.
Warm Regards Mrs CI Robertson
