Faulty shoe

I bought a shoe at edgars baywest I love the shoe I tried it on before purchasing it but once I wore the shoe it ended up hurting me whole day it scarved me open at the back of my ankle I couldn't keep it on for a half a day. I yet went to edgars to ask them if I could exchange it or something else or get a gift card cos I cant wear a shoe that scares me by causing blisters. The cashier went to the manager at the back by the office to find out what can she do about this the manager didn't evens come approach me yet alone look at the condition of the shoe I'm so ****ed now I waisted my money on ****.
