Faulty product, terrible customer service

Bought the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue foundation online and received a clearly defective product that was separating on first use.

Took it in-store and Springs Mall and was immediately told it couldn’t be returned because it was “used”completely ignoring the fact that it was faulty. Had to argue just to get basic consumer rights respected.

Eventually got a refund, but the experience was frustrating and unnecessary. Poor service and disappointing handling of a simple return. Staff clearly need better training on defective products.
