Faulty Phone

Please note that I purchased cell phone from edgars active at Germiston in December 2016, the phone stopped charging and I took the phone back to the store on the 2nd February, samsung galaxy grand prime plus worth R2300, now they tell me to pay R1641 for the phone to be repaired, what’s the use of having one year warranty if I am going to spend more money on the faulty phone that I bought from edgars? Can’t edgars Active be responsible for paying the amount?

Now I'm going to get stuck with a phone that's useless in my hands. that means I only took my last money and throw it away.

As a customer, I am really not happy, if this is the service that everyone receives from your store consultants then I don’t think I will ever purchase phone from Edgars or Edgars Active.

The phone never had any physical damage and now they claim that I damaged the phone , how convenience ,I should have known
