False sales sticker

Over the weekend my husband saw this red stripe shirt for R180 at Edgars Zevenwacht mall, hanging on the sale rail. I wanted to surprise him yesterday with this shirt. Yesterday unfortunately there was a stock taking happening so the store was closed, so I couldn't look for the red shirt. Today, 8 May I went again to look for the shirt at the sale rail like he explained. So I got the shirt, there were about 5 of them, all the same size. I took the one that had a threads pulling from the sleeve as an example of what the price should be that has a R180 red sticker on it and I took one that didn't have a red sticker on it, thinking all of them will obviously be the same discounted price. When I got to the till, the sales person said "sorry but the system shows that this item is R280", then I said "but look at this one that's R180, it's exactly the same shirt, how can it be R280?". Then she walked over to her Manager. By that time two pairs of customers were already asking me where is the till person. Then the Manager walked over to say "sorry but this one is not even really supposed to be on sale, because it doesn't have a red sticker, but we can give it to you for R280." Why would I pay R280 for a shirt that is exactly the same shirt, style, brand, size as the other ones that are on the sales rack for R180? So then the Manager said if I bring her one that says R180 on the sticker I can buy it for R180. So I had to walk all the way back to the sales rail and fetch the exact same shirt for R180. It's a disgrace that I had to walk back myself as a customer and proof the Manager wrong. It is not my responsibility of fault that the shirt were not supposed to be red stickered and labelled wrong. Customers waiting in the queue were so nice to let me go pass them to get to the front again to buy this shirt for R180. Edgards is supposed to be a store for the higher LSM target market and that's why I never shop there. And this one time I decide to spoil my husband at a more expensive store this is how I'm treated.
