false information regarding partner protection

I was retrenched and went to Edgars Pavillion to submit a claim. I have my own personal insurance on my account as well as partner protection insurance for my spouse. I was told because of the partner protection my wife's account will also be settled as I had paid her account all along as she is not working. Now today I received a call from Hollard oinsurance telling me that only my account will be settled and not my wife's. The partner protection does not cover her account because I was retrenched. But that is not what I was toild when I ttok out the partner protection plan and neither when I went to submit the claim. There was even two claims made out. One for me and one for my wife's account. So if my wife was not covered why make out the two seperate claim forms. So I was given false information when taking out the partner protection and when I submitted the claim. The lady even made sure that I was paying partner protection before submitting my claims. I would like this matter to be investigated as I am in no financial situation to pay any longer for my wife's account.
