FALSE ADVERTISING - NO DELIVERY

On 11 July 2015 Benefit cosmetics launched at Sandton City. Instead of driving to Sandton to buy the items I wanted, I stupidly chose to buy it off red square online as there were a few gift offers up for grabs for online purchases.

Truthfully I did not need the majority of the items I bought, however they had an online offer stating that you would receive a 4ml Narciso Rodriquez perfume with orders over R1 300.00.

According to the website, orders placed on Saturday would be received on Wednesday. Wednesday I followed up and was informed that the items I ordered were out of stock and that they had to source it from other stores. Apart from the fact that I literally placed my order on the day of the brand launching (which still shows all items in stock online) no one deemed me important enough to inform me of this. After numerous efforts from my side, I just received my order (and, despite the invoice listing the perfume samples I picked as well as the 4ml free gift, the box only contained the items I paid for. I feel cheated as I purposely spent more than I wanted to (which is their marketing strategy) in order to get the free gift, and they don't even bother.
