False advertising

I received an sms from Edcon to send through documents and after sending documents I will receive R200 off if I spend a R1000, the sms never said 'Ts and Cs apply' so I e-mailed required documents, then I went to Edgars store in Westgate mall,West of Jhb, I did a purchase of R1300 of full price items including sale items, so the lady at the pay point said no you cant use the voucher if there are sale items, the voucher its ONLY for full price items, I said but the sms did not state that, and there's was no 'Ts and Cs apply' on the sms, why didnt you put that on the sms???? She couldn't answer me, so Edcon why is your sms not clear, I spent R1300 thinking I will get R200 off, is this fair though??? You are ****** ****** , and I will never shop at your store again! You write something then you change at the pay point, day light *******!
