Excellent Service

<p>While in Durban recently, I decided to pay a visit to the Gateway mall branch of the above-mentioned retailer. </p> <p>Not being that fami**** with my surroundings, i firstly had a bit of trouble locating the men's shoes department. I came across one of the assistants in the kiddies section and asked for directions.</p> <p>Her name is Anele and she was to be the change to my shopping experience!</p> <p>Initially, she directed me but,when she established I was going to get lost,she offered to walk me to the department. Because of how friendly and open she was, I ended up blurting out that it was my birthday,to which she rep**** by extending congratulatory messages. </p> <p>Once in the shoe department, she left me to browse through the various pairs the store had to offer. SInce it wasn't her department of specialisation, she alerted a colleague of my presence and the possibility of my needing help. I can't say much about the colleague,lest I ruin this great experience but what I can tell you is when I found a shoe I liked,i went past the colleague,back to Anele. Again,she stopped what she was doing and came to assist me look for my size.</p> <p>Where I had asked the colleague what would happen, since I am from Joburg, in the event that I was uncomfortable with the size and needed to return,to which the colleague had advised I keep the box (imagine carrying an empty shoe box all the way from Durban to Johannesburg), Anele,the star,saved my day! She told me it was only a small part of the box that had the relevant information and,like the rock star she is,she slid to the back of the shop,came back with a pair of scissors and cut out the info I needed to facilitate an exchange!</p> <p>All this,mind you,was way after her knock off time!</p> <p>It is thanks to dedicated employees like Anele that every single day, the "P" in the PIPP values is redefined. </p> <p>Ngiyabonga mina.</p>
