EDGAR'S/RCS/BLAKES account fee blunder

I have had an Edgar's account for decades. I have always paid on time. During lock down last year the Edgar's store in Carletonville closed its doors. I kept on paying and in August 2020 ending up with a credit amount of R500. However, they kept on charging admin fees monthly on this credit amount. I called Edgar's who hD now being taken over by RCS(spent hours trying to get hold of them) but eventually managed to speak to someone who promised to sort it out and close the account. I did get a reference no. There was no action to this request and they kept on charging admin fees on the credit amount. In Dec out of desperation I bought goods to the value of R423 from Jet to get my money back. This still left a balance of R87 of my R500. I tried calling RCS but it proved to be a futile exercise as you get through to an answering service which did not recognise my account. They have now handed me over to Blakes debt collectors for an amount of R265 which is admin fees. According to the TV show DEVI this was not legal to to charge admin fees if you dont owe anything. I have sent statements to Blakes proving the R500 credit and explaining that u owe nothing and in fact Edgar's owes me R87 but they keep on harrowing me.
