Edgars Westgate

Good day,

I visited Edgars today, 09 May 2026, to do a layby for a pair of boots. When I approached the staff member assisting me and informed her that I wanted to do a layby, she proceeded to ask me how old I was and commented that I should not ask my mom to help me with the layby.

The reason my mother assisted me was because I did not have my ID on me at the time and my mother had hers available.

I found the staff member’s comments very rude and unprofessional. I do not understand why my age was relevant, and I believe customers should not be asked personal questions or judged based on their situation.

I kindly ask that staff members be reminded to treat customers with respect and avoid making personal comments or assumptions.
