Edgars Travel rip-off

I joined the Edgars club mainly for the better priced holidays on offer. When trying to make reservations for Mykonos in June I was 1st quoted a price of R2487 a night. Upon querying this amount it was then adjusted to R 1806 per night, which is still a lot more than R1350 advertised by Mykonos.The reason given for the price difference of R456 is that we're paying with our Edgars store card. What then is the point of paying a subscription fee to the Edgars club and arranging holiday accommodation via them if they plan on ripping their clients off like this??
