Edgars - transfers their credit facility to RCS with no prior notification

I have had an account which Edgars for more than 30 years. As a customer, irrespective of the length of time, would they not have an obligation to inform their customers at least 30 days in advance if a new credit provider has taken over their credit facility. I received an email today, 3 September 2020, advising that the new credit facility with RCS has been effective since 14 August 2020. There is no mention of the interest rate being charged??Very concerned - cancelling my facility with Edgars
