Edgars staff **** and are forcing customers to pay extra fees

I went to Edgars on 5th November 2016. I purchased a few items and at the till the person cashing up advised me to sign for a document. I declined. The agent then said I must sign and click on decline. Which I did.

Now I am being charged fees from Edgars for this service I never agreed to. My latest statement is now double what I was paying previously. Fees I never agreed to.

Edgars staff are either ***** or complicate in this ******* and ********** activity. I am taking this to the CPA as well.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand your frustration in this incident however once the service fee is sign we will not be able to cancel the fee as it has become part of the terms and condition.
Although it has become necessary to charge a service fee, we have taken the plight of our customers into consideration and discounted this fee to R22.80 per month which equates to R273.60 yearly as opposed to the prescribed maximum fee of R60 allowed per month by the NCA (R720 yearly) .
